Do you live with Parkinson's Disease, or do you live with someone who does? If so, you might be eligible for a study.

HealthMode is launching a research study to see how technology can be a part of healthcare for people with Parkinson's Disease

In this study we aim to

Figure out how data from your daily activities can inform PD research

Learn the experience of care partners to understand caring within a household

Test how digital devices may benefit people with PD

How does this work?

  • Two convenient visits in a mobile clinic
  • Eight weeks of in-home participation
  • Four phone calls with study staff over the eight weeks
  • Complete study tasks like cognitive tests, taking your blood pressure, and tracking your PD symptoms
  • Using multiple devices, like smartwatches and a smartphone, in your home for eight weeks

Study Timeline

  • Screening call (90min to 2hrs)
  • Baseline mobile clinic (about 3hrs)
  • Eight weeks with devices
  • Final mobile clinic visit

This study is looking for people who

  • Are at least 30 years old
  • Have Parkinson’s Disease
  • Have a live-in care partner
  • Live in a household of up to three people
  • Are able to operate digital devices like a smartphone or tablet
